I recall once with backer and whole group from Manila. Following that he was at Rusty's at least 4 more times. Strickland came up every few month from his homeroom Red's in Houston, but I don't remember them playing each other at Rusty's. I think he was there with Rodolfo Luat, and am pretty sure that was in 1984.

He got a rack of balls, dumped all on the GC next to the entrance, and with his unorthodox pump handle stroke looked pretty bad, but after 15 or so minutes I noticed he hadn't missed a ball yet. I remember him popping up one afternoon at Rusty's 24 hr billiards in Dallas, W NW Highway.
